About Us

Zach Smith

Zach Smith has always been a down to your roots thinker and worker. A farm boy and family man, he married Callie, the love of his life, and he is blessed with 5 children (4 of them boys!). His background in commercial and residential construction, along with a bachelor’s degree from OSU, also makes him a very valuable part of our team. We love his motto: “Do it right or don’t do it at all.” Zach currently owns and operates a 90 acre farm in Oregon with a windmill, cows, goats, sheep, chickens, and an old working steam tractor.  He’s on call for dispenser installation systems at ready mix plants and providing technical support.

Josh Bong

Josh is a 3rd generation concrete finisher. Finishing concrete is part of his blood. It has shaped his personality and character into who is today. One of the habits Josh has that has elevated his career is his passion for continuous improvement. He reads an hour a day, about cutting edge research that benefits his industry. That habit is exactly what led him to E5 nano silica. Josh lives in Southern Oregon and is a proud father and husband. He has a son and two daughters. He regularly works with his wife Amy volunteering in the local community.

Kassandra Schultz

Kassy is a hard working daughter of a general contractor in the Tacoma, WA area. She is well organized, industrious, and a great communicator! She also knows how to grind/hone/polish concrete having operated a Lavina L25GEB grinder and various other orbital and planetary grinders. She lives in Tacoma, WA and enjoys being a mom, hanging out with her daughter Kora, hiking, concerts, cooking, going on random adventures, gardening, cars, hanging out with her dog Peanut, and driving fast.

Rory Bosma

Rory has been working with concrete since he was 15. After over 25 years of performing structural inspections on public and private infrastructure, he realized that even when standards are followed by contractors, most concrete being placed is prone to excessive shrinkage and has a weak, porous surface compared to concrete that was placed by earlier generations. He realized that no amount of inspection will ever deliver a high quality project - rather - the focus should be on hiring a meticulous contractor who takes pride in creating sustainable and durable structures. Being motivated by love for people, he decided it best to immerse himself in all aspects of the concrete industry, creating long term relationships as he worked shoulder to shoulder placing concrete, finishing, grinding, polishing, waterproofing, and repairing concrete.

He has owned a concrete placing, polishing, and waterproofing business since 2016. This experience has helped him understand viewpoints from multiple sectors of the concrete industry, from design and engineering, contracting, inspection, and repair work. Rory prefers being in the field and working with his hands and he highly values critical thinking and being adaptable. Not content to simply watch and report on others laboring to build a legacy that future generations will benefit from, Rory decided to endure their struggles himself, so he can appeal to all who desire to create durable concrete structures in the simplest and most cost effective ways possible. Rory lives with his wife and two boys in Puyallup, Washington.
